Third Stream 1 Mobile application — underway now and due for a kick start week of 3 July 2017. This technology will allow Hele-On a clear TO view on bus routes, bus status, and additionally will provide access \/ for passengers to the Hele-On website for updates. Part of the LBE functionality will provide a "push" function from the website to registered passengers/Users on bus delays, changes in schedules 2 GIS mapping in conjunction with the mobile application will provide the base for establishing practical routes, but also provide a good way of allowing accurate assessments of current routes which may need altering, or the creation of additional routes Action date: 17/07/17 Confidential — Hele On Dev Date: 26/06/17 11 CSH Hele-On Status June 2017 2. Honolulu Buses a. 7 buses received from Oahu Transit System b. Arriving 3 July; clearance 5 July (completed) MTA c. 2 reserved for backup immediately AS d. 5 to replace our most "needy" buses in the field; mechanics have IS more time for repairs after which they will be returned to the field [5+1=6+1=7+1=8+1=9+1=10] The 1s are the returned buses following maintenance. Streamline the bus schedules (Tiffany/Betty) — 3rd party assistance a. Dependency is on cleaning up the routes, overhauling time schedules to reflect accurate timing... Flush out routes + buses, combine routes with low ridership in the same area. TO b. UPDATE Hele-On website with accurate and timely information. Make it more user friendly.... BE 5. This same agency will assist me in the type of buses most suited to our environment (roads, weather, etc.). This will allow us a more strategic perspective on long-range planning of transportation equipment.
