Re: Correction on Alex Akau's nomination letter dated June 15, 2017
Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members:
As approved by the Planning Committee at its July 6, 2017 hearing, this letter will serve
to correct Mayor Kim's nomination letter of Mr. Alex Akau to the Cultural Resources
Commission. Mr. Akau currently resides in Council District 1. The expiration date of
Mr. Akau's term, if confirmed, is December 31, 2021. Mayor Kim's letter incorrectly
listed Mr. Akau as being from Council District 9 and his term ending December 21,
2021.
