Re: Operating Budget
The County of Hawai`i has been awarded $441,798 in total federal and state grants for use in
Coastal Zone Management. -
A CZM(Coastal Zone Management) account was appropriated for$286,136 in anticipation of
federal grant funding, and a second account was appropriated for $131,977 in anticipation of state
grant funding for FY2017-18 for a total appropriation of$418,113 in Coastal Zone Management
grants. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
$23,685 of additional funds into the state grant account, bringing the total grant appropriation in
this account to $155,662, and the total combined appropriation for CZM to $441,798.
