Dear Council members:
As a taxpayer of this County I OPPOSE any effort to spend MORE money for an appeal b~ the
defendants in the rolice Cheating Case. The County Council wanted a trial despite an effort b~
some to circumvent the large expense this triat would entail. Atrial was held and a verdict was
rendered to expose the "truth". The verdict was not a verdict that was palatable to the defendanU
and now ,Y[ORE money is being requested for an appeal. When does this stop? I say it should
STOP NOW. Thank you for your time.
