Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled "Road Improvements—Pua, Todd, Baker &Desha Ayes" and to appropriate $152,000 from the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) to the Capital Budget for this project. B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): This widening, resurfacing and drainage improvement project around Keaukaha School is a partnership between the County of Hawaii and the DHHL. This cost share project will improve the area around Keaukaha School to provide a safer driving and walking environment for parents, teachers, staff, and school children.
