This change is needed in order to accommodate the increased number of housing projects in the Kona area that require close monitoring of management and finances, and of the social services provided. This position will also provide oversight to CDBG projects such as the upcoming Certified Kitchen in the Friendly Place and Kona Abuse Center renovation projects.
