HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 243 Draft 01 2016-2018r - - JNtYOFII,�'., COUNTY OF HAWAII •� �' STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 243 17 RESOLUTION CHANGING THE FULL TIME EQUIVALENT (FTE) STATUS OF A HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST III POSITION FROM A PART-TIME HOURLY POSITION TO BECOME A FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITION WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is requesting to change the FTE status of their Housing and Community Development Specialist Ill position from a part-time, hourly position to become a full-time salaried position; and WHEREAS, this change is needed in order to accommodate the increased number of housing projects in the Kona area that require close monitoring of management and finances, and of the social services provided; and WHEREAS, in addition to the functions described above, this position will provide oversight to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects such at the Certified Kitchen in the Friendly Place and the Kona Abuse Center renovation projects in the upcoming year; and WHEREAS, funds for this change in FTE status are included in the OHCD's current (FY 2018) Operating Budget; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that position HO-00008, Housing and Community Development Specialist Ill, be changed from a part-time hourly position, to become a full time salaried position. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of Housing and Community Development, Finance, and Human Resources Departments.
