SUBJECT: A Resolution Supporting the Development of a Hawai`i Island Shooting Range as
Recommended by the Game Management Advisory Commission.
Attached is a resolution co-sponsored by Councilwoman Lee Loy and I by request of the Game
Management Advisory Commission for a Hawaii Island shooting range.
It is hereby requested that this resolution be waived through Committees and placed on the
August 2, 2017 Council agenda; however, in the event this request is denied, for whatever
reason, it is understood that this matter shall be referred to the appropriate Committee.
