Dear Hawaii Island Council:
Please support Bill 47 to enable local farmers to sell their produce at open markets located in our Pahoa Park Complex.
Use of county parks may be a vehicle to monitor property tax payments: if you want to sell your produce,your property
taxes better be up to date.
Residents pay property taxes that support county parks. If you are a resident, having a venue to sell your stuff without
someone else charging you a fee would be a way for local people to see their tax money being used to help their own
community.
Please support this bill. But keep what can be sold and who can sell tight and regulated. Benefit residents of Pahoa and
nearby locales. Mahalo
