Au' Comm. 470: REZONING REQUEST - BERETANIA PROPERTIES, INC.
(Bill 779) WAIAKEA HOMESTEAD HOUSE LOTS, WAIAKEA, SOUTH HILO
TAX MAP KEY 2-2-41:Portion of 75 (9, 425 sq. ft. )
From Planning Commission Chairman Bert H. Nakano
dated September 11, 1981, submitting for adoption,
a proposed bill to change the district classification
from a Single Family Residential - 10 ,000 square foot
(RS-10) to a Neighborhood Commercial - 10, 000 square
foot (CN-10) zoned district at Waiakea Homestead
House Lots, Waiakea, South Hilo.
Informs they have no objections if the Council amends
the draft ordinance to impose drainage conditions;
recommends Bill 779 be amended as follows:
(1) Condition (H) under Section 1 be relettered (I) .

(2) Condition (H) - to read.: "that all water runoff generated by the
proposed development shall be disposed on-site by a drainage
system acceptable to the Department of Public Works; "
(3) Section 2 be renumbered Section 3.
(4) =Section 2 to read: "Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored'. 'In printing this ordinance, the brackets,
bracketed material, and underscoring need not be included. "
(5) Section 3 be renumbered Section 4.
Further recommends Bill 779, as revised, be passed by the Council on
first reading.
