From Councilwomen Helene H. Hale and Merle K. Lai
dated September 24 , 1981 submitting for consideration,
pursuant to the request for proposals to develop a
legislative package for the County Council, a proposed
bill relating to the disbursement of fines and
forfeitures.
The purpose of the bill is to provide that each county
receive 50 percent of all revenues collected from all
traffic violations and animal control violations each
fiscal year by the district courts in that county;
recommends the proposal be accepted for inclusion in the legislative
package of the County Council for the 1982 State legislative session.
