HomeMy WebLinkAboutREP PC 078 11/10/1981 1980-1984 REPORT OF THE • COMMITTEE ON PLANNING November 10, 19 81 Chairman and Members Hawaii County Council Hilo, Hawaii Your Committee on Planning to which was referred: Bill 767 : REZONING - WAIAKEA, SOUTH HILO (REVISED) Amends Section 7 . 29 (The City of Hilo Zone Map) , Article 2 , Chapter 8 (Zoning Code) , of the Hawaii County Code, as amended, to conform with the County of Hawaii General Plan, as amended on July 5 , 1979, by changing the district classification from resort- hotel-safety (V-S-. 75) to Limited Industrial (ML-20) at Waiakea, South Hilo; recommends the second paragraph of Section 7 . 29 under Section 1 of revised Bill 767 be amended to read: "The area is further described as, along the south side (mauka) of Kalanianaole Avenue , being across from the southerly extension of Banyan Street, and along the north side (makai) of Kamehameha Avenue; and along the north side (makai) of Kalanianaole Avenue, to the west of Kumau Street { j and to the east of Huipu Street.
