Comm. 657: ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES FOR VARIANCES
From Planning Committee Chairman Takashi Domingo dated
February 3., 1982., regarding Bills 808 and 809 .
Bill 808 : Amends Chapter 8 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County
Code, as amended, relating to administrative procedures
for variances.
Bill 809: Amends Chapter 9 (Subdivision Control Code) of the
Hawaii County Code , as amended, relating to
administrative procedures for variances;
recommends acceptance of the Planning Committee Chairman' s suggested
amendments to Bill 808 and 809; and that said bills , as revised, be
passed on first reading.
The amendments are as follows :
Bill 808 - (1) Item C. "The degree of deviation from the applicable
requirement(s) is not substantial; and" of
Section 7 . 01 , GROUNDS FOR VARIANCES , under
Section 2 be deleted.
(2) Item D. be relettered C.
Bill 809 - (1) Item C. "The degree of deviation from the applicable
requirement (s) is not substantial; and" of
Section 5 . 01, GROUNDS FOR VARIANCFS , under
Section 2 be deleted..
(2) Item D. be relettered C.
