Your Committee on Planning to which was referred:
�Re s. 326 : TRANSIENT VACATIONRENTAL UNITS
Designates transient vacation rental use in areas
designated for resort use by the General Plan in
accordance with HRS 514E and the Hawaii County General
Plan. This resolution shall remain in effect pending
adoption of an ordinance by the County Council which
furthers an acceptable statutory mandate;
(Intr. by: Mr, Schutte)
recommends thefourth paragraph of Resolution 326 be amended to read
as follows:
"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that [it designates] transient vacation rental [use] units
are 'permitted in areas designated for resort use by the General Plan in
accordance with HRS 514E and the Hawaii County General Plan. "
Further recommends Resolution 326 , as revised, be adopted by the
Council.
