Your Committee on Planning to which was referred:
ALu Comm. 364.. 1: 1978 POLICIES AND DIRECTIONS OF THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL
From Councilwoman Helene H. Hale dated May 6 , 1982, trans-
mitting the Legislative Auditor' s response, per Planning
Committee Report No. 43 , requesting an update of the
1978 Policies and Directions of the Hawaii County Council
and to incorporate these in future departmental program
review evaluations. Agrees with him that Policies and
Directions of the Council should be done by Council
consensus and requests that this matter be referred to
some committee that would work on them and bring them
up-to-date and make them current;
recommends the Planning Committee, in coordination with the standing
committees, update the 1978 Policies and Directions of the Hawaii County
Council for incorporation in future departmental program review evaluations
and implementation of these policies and directions.
