Your Committee on Planning to which was referred:
Res. 427: HOOLULU REGIONAL PARK COMPLEX
Requests that the Administration, in its ongoing
General Plan review, rescind their prior recommenda-
tion for the razing of the two Butler buildings
adjoining the Hilo Civic Auditorium and instead call
for the upgrading of these facilities to further and
better accommodate the many activities of the Hoolulu
Regional Park Complex;
recommends the seventh paragraph of Resolution 427 be amended to read
as follows :
"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY" THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it requests that the Administration [in its ongoing General
Plan review, ] rescind their prior recommendation for the razing of these
Butler buildings and instead call for the upgrading of these facilities
to further and better accommodate the many activities of the Hoolulu
Regional Park Complex. "
Further recommends Resolution 427 , as revised, be adopted by the. Council.,
