From Legislative Chairman Takashi Domingo dated
October 5 , 198.2, transmitting proposed legislation
and justification sheet, pursuant to Planning
Committee concerns and public testimony regarding
the State mandate that counties designate areas where
time sharing and transient vacation rentals are allowed;
recommends proposal be accepted as part of the 1983 legislative package
and that the legislative committee pursue it either through the Hawaii
State Association of Counties or through its lobbying efforts at the
State Legislature.
