the deleted items from Ordinance No. 456 (Amended) ,
relating to General Plan amendments.;
recommends Council deny the following proposed revisions to the General
Plan as submitted by the Planning -Commission and Planning Director
(November 21, 1978 communication) :
South Hilo District
Item 20. Delete Alternate Urban Expansion.; Wainaku along the Wainaku
Camp 2 Road and mauka of the Hawaii Belt Highway on the Hilo
side of Alae Cemetery
North/South Kona Districts
Item 51. Resort to Medium Density Urban Development: Holualoa - in the
vicinity of Holualoa Bay
Item 52. Resort to Medium Density Urban Development: 'Holualoa - in the
vicinity of the White Sands Subdivision area
Item 53. Low Density Urban Development/Open to Extensive Agriculture/
Alternate Urban Expansion: Ke ' ei/Honaunau - mauka of the
Pu'uhonua Road in the vicinity of P alemano. Point
Note: Item 50 relating to Kamoa Point deferred for further study.
