$rr Comm. 970 : COUNTY SHARE OF GEOTHERMAL PRODUCTION ROYALTIES
From Councilman Tomio Fujii dated October 13 , 1982,
submitting for consideration, in the 1983 legislative
package, a Bill For An Act and an accompanying justifi-
cation which provides each county, where geothermal
production occurs , with 25% of the royalties derived by
the State for such production;
recommends proposal be accepted as part of the 1983 legislative package
and that the legislative committee pursue it either through the Hawaii
State Association of Counties or through its lobbying efforts at the
State Legislature.
