Your Committee on Planning to which was referred:
/'SQL, Comm.. 978 : CONTRIBUTION TO STUDY NORTH KOHALA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
(Bill 895) PLAN
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated October 13, 1982 ,
submitting for adoption, a proposed bill accepting a
contribution of $100 ,000 from the Kohala Corporation to
pay for a study to update the North Kohala Community
Development Plan.
The moneywill be used to hire a qualified consultant
mutually acceptable to the County and Kohala Corporation.
Kohala Corporation will give the County a payment bond; and
progress payments will be made to the County, which in turn
will pay the consultant;
recommends Bill 895 be passed by the, Council on first reading and
referred back to Planning Committee.
