From Planning Commission Chairman Alfredo Orita dated
October .4 , 1982, submitting for adoption, a proposed
bill to change the district classification from an
Agricultural 20-acre (.A-20a) to an Agricultural 5-acre
(A-5a) zoned district at Puuokamau, North Kohala.
Informs the request was deniedby the Planning Director;
however, the petitioner appealed the Director' s decision
with the Commission and the Commission, at its meeting
of August 1.7, 1982 , .voted to reverse the Director' s
denial decision based on the findings and conditions of
approval;
recommends Bill 889 be passed on first reading.
