Dear Council members:
As a taxpayer of this County I OPPOSE any effort to spend MORE money for an appeal by the
defendants in the Police Cheating Case. The County Council wanted a trial despite an effort by
some to circumvent the large expense this trial would entail. Atrial was held and a verdict was
rendered to expose the "truth". The verdict was not a verdict that was palatable to the defendants
and now MORE money is being requested for an appeal. When does this stop? I say it should
STOP NOW. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
S arure
