Your Committee on Planning to which was referred:
Bill 979 : PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
(Draft 2) Amends Article 21, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, as amended, relating to 'planned unit
development:.

Comm. 1227. 4 : From Planning Committee Chairman Takashi Domingo dated
(Bill 979, August 17, 1983, submitting for consideration, Bill 979 ,
Draft 3) Draft 3, which suggests that the minimum area of a P.U.D.
be two acres instead of having no minimum area requirements
at all ..
SECTION 3_ has been changed in form to reflect the intent of
expanding the administrative responsibility to amending
conditions as well as allowing time extensions.
Draft 2 did not clearly express this purpose;
recommends Bill 979, Draft 3, be adopted by the Council on second and
final reading.
