From Planning Commission Chairman Clyde Imada dated
October 3 , 1983 , submitting an ordinance bill to change
the district classification from Agricultural 5-acre
(A-5a) to an Agricultural 2-acre (A-2a) zoned district
at Ponahawai , South Hilo.
Informs the request was denied by the Planning
Director ; however the petitioner appealed the
Director ' s decision with the Planning Commission, and
the Commission, at its meeting on June 16 , voted to
reverse the Director ' s denial decision based on
findings and conditions of approval.
recommends Council adopt Bill 1025 on first reading and refer back to
Planning Committee.
