Your Committee on Planning to which was referred:
Res. 817: GEOTHERMAL ENERGY
Recommends to the State Legislature that Chapter 205 ,
relating to geothermal energy, be amended in certain
respects so as to protect the interests of existing
lessees and to delineate and clarify the respective
roles of the County of Hawaii and the State of Hawaii
in connection with geothermal energy development, and
in other respects;

recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 817 .
