Your Committee on Planning to which was referred Resolution Nos . 897,
898, 899, 900, 901 , 902, 903 , 904, and 905 regarding street names ,
reports as follows :
The purpose of these resolutions is to name roadways in the
respective subdivisions , as specified .
Pursuant to Section 22-35 , Article 2, Chapter 22 of the Hawaii County
Code, the County Council is authorized to adopt street names for
Hawaii County ' s unnamed roadways . Prior approval of these street
names were deemed invalid since the previous resolutions referred to
sections of the old County Code.
Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution Nos . 897 through
905 and recommends its approval .
