Sign waving has become a popular campaign method by many candidates in recent elections. However, sign wavers along our busy streets distract passing motorists and create an extreme safety hazard. Your committee is concerned about the safety and well-being of both motorists and pedestrians . As such, your committee favors voluntarily refraining from sign waving on our streets and roads. Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution 938-84 and recommends its adoption. TAKASHI DOMINGO, CHAIR `'N SPE10ER K. SCHUTTE, VICE CHAIRMAN (ABSENT & EXCUSED) 4.IAA JAMES L. K.
