Reference: Comm. 365 Intr. by: Ms. David (B/R) CHANGES THE FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT STATUS OF A HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST III POSITION FROM A PART- TIME HOURLY POSITION TO BECOME A FULL-TIME SALARIED POSITION Requests a change in the time element of this position to accommodate the increased number of housing projects in Kona, which requires close monitoring of management, financial, and social services; also anticipates the position to provide oversight to upcoming Community Development Block Grant projects such as the certified kitchen at the Friendly Place and Kona Abuse Center renovation projects. Reference: Comm. 369 Intr. by: Ms. David (B/R) Page 3 FC -16 August 1, 2017 Res. 245-17: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR DIGITAL IMAGERY AND ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE FOR THE HAWAII COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT Authorizes a six-year lease agreement with Pictometry/Eagleview for a total cost of $3,089,955. The digital imagery would support E-911 response systems with enhanced area views, providing increased ability to identify and arrive at the accurate location. Reference: Comm. 353 Intr. by: Ms. O'Hara Bill 55: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 17-39, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2018 Increases revenues in the State Grants - Coastal Zone Management account ($23,685); and appropriates the same to the Coastal Zone Management account, bringing the total State grant amount to $155,663. Funds for this project shall be provided from the State Capital Improvement Project Funds. Funds would be used to improve roadways and drainage around Keaukaha School in Hilo.
