Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Res. No. 249-17,
reports as follows:
Resolution No. 249-17, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Ronald Kim, via
Communication 376 dated June 28, 2017, accepts the dedication of Roadway Lot 22, identified
as Tax Map Key No. ( 3) 2- 7- 040: 009 (por.), situated at Paukaa, District of South Hilo,
Island and County of Hawai`i, State of Hawai`i from RJL, LLC, a Hawai`i Limited Liability
Company. The lot would be used for public road purposes.
The Department of Public Works inspected the road improvements and streetlights and found them to be
in full compliance with the provisions of Chapter 23 of the Hawai`i County Code.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 249-17, and recommends its adoption.
