Comm. 71: SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR PAPAIKOU-PAUKAA
(Bill 714) SEWERAGE SYSTEM AND' KAILUA--KONA SEWERAGE SYSTEM
(NORTHERN ZONE).. .'. . . .
From Director of Finance Stanley Ar Nakama,e dated
January 13 , 1981 submitting a supplementary appro-
priation bill appropriating $2 ,281,141 in Environmental
Protection Agency grants for construction of the
second phase of the Papaikou-Paukaa Sewerage System
($2 ,275, 305) and a small addition ($5 ,836) to the
Kailua-Kona Sewerage System (Northern Zone) project.
Informs the second phase of the Papaikou-Paukaa
Sewerage System consists of the installation of
interceptor lines and construction of pump stations,
The State will add $300, 000. to this project and a
CIP request for the County' s share of $450, 000 will
be submitted;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 714 on first reading.
