Comm. 48: REVIEW OF MEMBERSHIP ON HAWAII COUNTY ECONOMIC
OPPORTUNITY COUNCIL'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
From Councilwoman Helene Hale dated December 29, 1980
requesting that the County Council review its member-
ship on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii County
Economic Opportunity Council and suggests the desig-
nation of nine Council members on the Board instead
of the eight presently allowed . Informs she is
personally interested in serving on this board and
feels the opportunity to serve on such an important
agency should be dealt with seriously and should be
the decision of the majority of the Council members;
48.1: From Finance Committee Chairman Tornio Fujii dated
February 4, 1981 responding to Councilwoman Hale 's
request regarding membership on the Hawaii County
Economic Opportunity Council;
recommends Council accept the recommendation of the Finance Committee
Chairman and that Councilwoman Hale 's request be forwarded to the
Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council for their consideration.
