Comm. 77: IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO . 11
(Bill 716) AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL COUNSEL CONTRACT
From Assistant Corporation Counsel Bruce M. Ito
dated January 23 , 1981 requesting an additional sum
of 320, 000 be appropriated for the services of
Mr. Alan M. Okamoto, of the law firm of Nakamoto,
Yoshioka and Chillingworth, as special counsel with
regard to Improvement District No . 11, and submits
an ordinance bill appropriating the necessary funds.
Informs Mr . Okamoto has been negotiating with
representatives of American Showa for the past four
months toward an agreement which would resolve the
County's problems concerning I .D . No . 11;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 716 on first reading.
