Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 103 : ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS FOR WATER
(Bill 719) PROJECTS IN- HAMAKUA AND KURTISTOWN
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
February 4, 1981 submitting for favorable action,
an ordinance bill authorizing the issuance of
$750, 000 in general obligation bonds on behalf of
the Department of Water Supply for sale to the
Farmers Home Administration to replace advance
funding of various water projects in Hamakua and
Kurtistown.
Further informs the bonds must be sold to FmHA by
June 30, 1981 and the interest rates will be
determined at the time the loan is approved;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 719 on first reading.
