Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm. 171 : COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated March 5, 1981
proposing, pursuant to the requirements of Section 504
of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, that additional
duties of compliance coordinator be assigned to the
present community development technician, who is already
performing work in equal employment and affirmative
action, and that the position be transferred to his
office to give it more attention and clout. Informs the
position is presently being funded 50-50 by community
development funds from the Federal government and by the
County. The additional duties will result in an upgrade
of the position and supplementalfunds must be furnished
to his office. Requests also that the Housing and
Community Development Agency be authorized to retain its
half-time position that is funded from Federal sources ;
Ac Coinn. 171. 1: From Director of Personnel Harry Boranian dated April 28, -
(Res . 94) 1981 submitting a resolution to amend the salary
ordinance as a result of a classification study on a
new position duly authorized. by the Office of the Mayor
and the Administrative Review Committee in accordance
with Section 4-5(c) of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the addition of one new position of
Affirmative Action Officer SR-24 for the Office of the Mayor and the
accompanying Resolution 94 be adopted to accomplish this purpose.
