Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
k c—c.Comm. 241: PROPOSED BUDGET AND HALF-TIME PLANNER'S POSITION -
(Res . 86) COMMITTEE ON THEHANDICAPPED
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated April 10, 1981
submitting for favorable review and adoption, a proposed
budget and half-time planner' s position to implement
activities relating to the International Year of the
Disabled Person, recommended by the Committee on the
Handicapped, which he feels are needed to support the
activities and projects that focus on the needs and
concerns of the handicapped;
recommends Council approve the proposed budget and creation of a half-
time planner' s' position to implement activities relating to the
International Year of the Disabled Person; and that the attached
Resolution 86 transferring $10, 000 from the Contingency account to the
Mayor' s Office, Committee on the Handicapped account, be adopted to
accomplish these purposes .
