(Res . 87) .DEPARTMENTS OF POLICE, LIQUOR CONTROL AND PLANNING
From Director of Personnel Harry Boranian dated
April 14, 1981 submitting a resolution to amend the
salary ordinance as a result of initial allocations
of positions authorized by the Police Department,
LiquorControland the Administrative Review
Committee in accordance with Section 4-5(c) of the
County Charter; and deletion of an exempt federally
funded position in the Planning Department;
recommends Council approve: (1) the addition of one new position of
Police Sergeant SR-21 and one new position of Police Officer SR-18 for
the Police Department, Special Traffic Enforcement Unit; (2) the
addition of one new position of Clerk-Stenographer SR-9 for the
Department of Liquor Control; and (3) the deletion of one position of
Planner III (Economics) SR-18 for the Planning Department (Federal and
State Funded-Exempt Position) .
Further recommends adoption of accompanying Resolution 87 to accomplish
the above purposes .
