,b .�. Comm. 247 : APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR MASS TRANSPORTATION AGENCY
(Bill 735) From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated April 22, 1981
submitting an ordinance bill to increase revenues of
$165, 000 in the Public Utilities Franchise Tax -
Highway Fund and appropriating to the Mass Transportation
Agency so that current public transit services can be
maintained for this fiscal year.
Informs the deficit is due to underestimation of
contractual rate increases , dramatic fuel price
increases, and the addition of the 65-passenger Kona-
Hilo bus ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 735 on first reading.
