Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
&L.Comm. 271 : APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS - RURAL COMMUNITY FIRE
(Bill 739) PROTECTION
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
April 30, 1981 informing they have received a check
in the sum of $24, 000 from the State as a grant
under FY ' 80 Rural Community Fire Protection program
of the Federal government and submits an ordinance
bill to appropriate the funds .
Informs this grant is to be used to acquire and
refurbish two GSA excess property 6x6 tank trucks
to replace existing volunteer equipment at Hawaiian
Beaches and Waikoloa and to equip newly-formed
volunteer companies at Kahuku Ranch, Milolii and
Holualoa;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 739 on first reading.
