From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae
dated July 2 , 1981 informing on May 20, 1981,
the Council appropriated $10,000 to the
Committee on. the Handicapped for planning
activities relating to the International Year
of the Disabled. However, the sum of $2 ,687 . 50
has lapsed on June 30, 1981 and submits a
resolution to reappropriate said amount which
is needed in the new fiscal year to carry on
the work of the planner who was hired on contract;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 146 to transfer $2 ,687 . 50
from the Contingency account to the Committee on the Handicapped account.
