Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
A.a-)Comm. 563 : APPROPRIATION OF FUND BALANCE
(Bills 803 From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
•& 804) November 4 , 1981 reporting that the General Fund
has $3 , 664 , 649 in the fund balance account
available for appropriation which presents an
excellent opportunity to resolve some long-standing
problems , to protect the County' s investment in
facilities , to fund needed improvements , to augment
accounts that require additional funds , and to
reappropriate Federal funds that were lapsed.
Submits a supplementary appropriation ordinance
bill and an ordinance bill which amends capital
budget ordinance for FY 1981-82 (Ord. No . 696)
to authorize new projects to be financed from
these funds , and required financial impact state-
ments ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bills 803 and 804 on first
reading and refer back to Finance Committee for further review.
