htComm. 614 : AMENDMENT TO SALARY ORDINANCE
(Res . 274) DEPARTMENT OF PARKS & RECREATION, RECREATION &
MAINTENANCE DIVISIONS
From Director of Personnel Harry Boranian dated
November 16, 1981 submitting for adoption, amendments
to the salary ordinance to retitle the Maintenance
Electrician-Mechanic WB-10 position and reallocate the
lifeguard positions due to the reassignment of duties
and responsibilities ;
recommends Council approve the following for the Department of Parks and
Recreation, Recreation and Maintenance Divisions :
(1) Reallocation of one position of Lifeguard SR-10 to Lifeguard I
(Pool) SR-11;
(2) Retitling one position of Maintenance Electrician-Mechanic WB-10
to Electrical Pump Mechanic-Electrician WB-10 ; and
(3) Reallocation of 7 part-time positions of Lifeguard SR-10 to Life-
guard I (Pool) SR-11 and 17 part-time positions of Lifeguard SR-10
to Lifeguard II (Beach) SR-13.
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 274 be adopted to accom-
plish the above purposes .
