blR. Comm. 624 : AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE 613 RELATING. TO REAL v'
(Bill 816) PROPERTY TAXES
From Stephen K. Yamashiro , Chairman, and Spencer K.
Schutte, Member, HSAC Real Property Committee, dated
December 28, 1981 submitting for adoption, an
ordinance bill to amend Sections 48 , 75 , 78 , 79 and 97
of Ordinance 613 , as per the decision of the HSAC
Real Property Committee. According to the
Committee' s Rules , the proposed bill is to be
resubmitted to the Committee after public hearings
have been conducted and before the bill is considered
for final reading;
recommends Bill 816 be amended to incorporate the reduction in the
real property tax rate from $17 . 90 to $10 . 74 per $1 , 000 of assessed
valuation.
Further recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 816 , as revised, on
first reading.
