Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:

4-Q., Comm. 637 : AMENDMENT TO SALARY ORDINANCE
(Res . 285) DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
From Director of Personnel Harry Boranian dated
January 11, 1982 submitting for adoption, a
resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a
result of classification studies duly authorized
by the Department of Public Works and the
Administrative Review Committee in accordance with
Section 4-5 (c) of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the following reallocations for the
Department of Public Works :
(1) One position of Building Maintenance Repairer WB-9 to Plumber
WB-10 , Bureau of Building Construction and Inspection, South
Hilo and Puna; and
(2) One position of Lead Sewage Plant Maintenance Mechanic WF-12 to
Sewage Plant Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor FI-12 , Bureau of
Sewers and Sanitation.
Further recommends the accompanying Resolution 285 be adopted to
accomplish the above purposes .
