Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
1c Comm. 671 : LIQUOR CONTROL FUND
(Bill 827) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
February 5 , 1982 informing a special revenue fund
entitled the "Liquor Control Fund" was created by
Ordinance No. 649 in compliance with Act 304 ,
SLH 1980. The following year, the law was changed
to allow the use of the general fund or a special
fund for the administration of liquor funds.
Informs they prefer the use of the general fund
and proposes that the special fund be abolished;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 827 on first reading to
abolish the "Liquor Control Fund" .
