The Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Comm.. 749 : OFFICE OF MANPOWER RESOURCES (OMR) - PROGRAM
REVIEW
From Legislative Auditor Harry Takahashi dated
April 12 , 1982 transmitting the program review
report of the Office of Manpower Resources ;
has reviewed the program audit of the Office of Manpower Resources
and recommends that the report , as submitted, be accepted.
The Committee finds that the Board of Ethics , the Committee on the
Status of Women, and the HCEOC programs (Transportation & Agricultural)
are progressing in meeting their objectives and legislative intent ;
and that the amount of funding to continue these programs should be
determined during the review of the next fiscal year' s budget.
The Committee further finds that the CETA programs are accomplishing
their legislative intent and should be continued as long as Federal
funds are available to underwrite the cost of_ the projects . .
