Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
, Cr_ Comm. 795 : TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO PUUHONUA FAMILY CRISIS SHELTER
(Res. 366) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
May 5 , 1982 informing that Ordinance 774 , relating
to standards for appropriation of funds to private
organizations , prohibits the County from entering
into a purchase •of service contract with the Family
Crisis Shelter in this fiscal year because the
County has already granted funds to this organization;
however, additional grants may be made.
Accordingly, submits a resolution transferring an
additional $2 , 000 to the Shelter for the fiscal year
ending June 30 , 1982 , which is equivalent to the
estimated cost of a purchase of service contract for
May and June that the Council instructed them to
negotiate;
recommends Council approve and adopt Resolution 366 .
