Comm. 901: ROSS V. COUNTY OF HAWAII, ET AL.
CIVIL NO. 7900
From Corporation Counsel Stephen J. Menezes dated
July 19 , 1982 informing, after a review of the
complaint and discussion with Disciplinary Counsel',
he has concluded that their office cannot represent
the County and other named defendants in the subject
civil suit and requests approval to hire special
counsel; recommends an executive session to
discuss the case;
recommends , pursuant to Section 5-2 .5 of the County Charter, Council .
grant authorization to hire special counsel(s) for Civil No. 7900
(Ross vs. County of Hawaii, et al) , and that the expenditure shall not
exceed $10, 000 .
