Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
Bill 877 : PROCEDURES FOR DISPOSITION OF COUNTY OWNED REAL
PROPERTY
Amends Chapter 2 , Article 9 , Hawaii County Code,
as amended, providing exceptions to the procedures
for the disposition of real property owned by the
County of Hawaii;
(Intr. by: Mr. Schutte)
recommends Section 11. A. (1) under Section 3 of Bill 877 be amended
to read:
"(1) Selling it in fee simple at such price and on such terms and
conditions deemed proper to governments and governmental agencies
[ , non-profit organizations , or affordable housing developers] authorized
to hold lands in fee simple; " .
Further recommends Bill 877 , as revised, be passed on first reading.
