ET AL, VS. KOHALA PLASTICS INDUSTRIES, INC. ET AL,
CIVIL NO . 57756 , FIRST CIRCUIT
From Deputy Corporation Counsel Barbara P. Richardson
dated August 12, 1982 informing the County of Hawaii
has obtained judgment against, among others , Defendants
Daniel. T. and Mary Ann Fogarty of Savannah, Georgia,
in the subject case and requests approval to employ
special Georgia counsel for the purposes of collection
in this matter in the amount of $2 , 000 to cover the
$1, 000 retainer fee and any costs which may be incurred
in collecting the County' s $100, 000, plus interest,
judgment; requests the matter be discussed in executive
session;
recommends , pursuant to Section 5-2 .5 of the County Charter, Council
grant authorization to hire special counsel for Civil No. 57756
(State of Hawaii, et al vs . Kohala Plastics Industries , Inc. , et al) ,
and that the expenditure shall not exceed $2, 000 .
