Your Committee on Finance to which was referred:
40., Comm. 954 : SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT S
(Res . 472) DEPARTMENTS OF FINANCE, FIRE AND POLICE
From Deputy Director of Personnel David K. Luke, Jr.
dated September 27 , 1982 submitting for adoption,
a resolution to amend the salary ordinance as a
result of conversion of positions from State-funded
to County-funded in the Department of Finance and
also classification studies duly authorized by the
Fire and Police Departments and the Administrative
Review Committee in accordance with Section 4-5 (c)
of the County Charter;
recommends Council approve the following:
(1). Transfer from Section 8. 04(c) , Treasury Division, Department of
Finance, under Federal and State Funded-Exempt Positions
(Exhibit B, page 34) 2 positions of Treasury Clerk I SR-12 ,
(2) Reallocate one position of Fire Fighter SR-16 to Fire Captain SR-24
in the Fire Department; and
(3) Reallocate one position of Payroll Clerk SR-10 to Account Clerk
SR-10 in the Police Department.
Furtherrecommends 'the accompanying Resolution 472 be adopted to
accomplish the above purposes .
